Rare European Bee-eater in Suffolk
During the last week of May I spent a few days exploring RSPB Minsmere and also visiting Dunwich Heath, which is owned by the National Trust, to look for the Dartford Warbler. During my stay I was lucky to see rare birds such as Stone-Curlews, Dartford Warblers and even a European Bee-eater which perched on a power line just 50 yards from the kitchen window of the cottage where I was staying!
