WILLOW TIT

Often confused with the Marsh Tit as they look fairly similar.  The Willow Tit has a black cap and white face, dark grey and brown back with a bright rusty breast.  The Willow Tit can be found in woodlands, willow/alder scrub, old hedgerows, woodland edges and comes to feeders.  There are an estimated 8,000 pairs in the UK although this number is currently in decline.  I nearly always see the Willow Tit at RSPB Fairburn Ings.
