EGYPTIAN GOOSE

The Egyptian Geese is pale with an olive-brown back, greyer or rufous towards the rear and a pale chest.  They have a pale crown and dark neck ring and mask with a pink and black beak and red/pink legs.  There are just 3,500 in the UK found mostly in East Anglia and Southern England usually seen in parks, lakes and reservoirs.

Length: 63-73cm (25-29in)               

Wingspan: 1.1-1.3m (3½-4¼ft)

Weight: 1.3-1.6kg (2¾-3½lb)

Lifespan: 12 to 15 years
